AIDS Signs And Symptoms


Description
The initial infection may not produce symptoms. Some people with HIV infection have no symptoms between infection and development of AIDS. In addition to the symptoms listed below can develop many others.
  • Prolonged unexplained exhaustion.
  • Swollen glands (lymph nodes).
  • Fever lasting more than 10 days.
  • Colds.
  • Excessive sweating, especially at night.
  • Injuries including sore mouth and gums swollen and painful.
  • Sore throat.
  • Coughing.
  • Shortness of breath.
  • Change in eating habits, including constipation.
  • Frequent diarrhea.
  • Symptoms of a specific infection (such as candida, pneumocystis, etc.)..
  • Tumors (Kaposi sarcoma).
  • Skin rash or other lesions.
  • Unintentional weight loss.
  • General discomfort or uneasiness.
  • Headache.
Additional Symptoms That May Occur With This Disease
  • Speech impairment.
  • Muscular atrophy.
  • Memory loss.
  • Decreased intellectual function.
  • General swelling.
  • Swelling of the joints.
  • Joint pain.
  • Intolerance to cold.
  • Fatigue or bone pain.
  • Strange or unusual behavior.
  • Slow, lazy or lethargic.
  • Restlessness, tension, and stress.
  • Lumps in the groin.
  • Generalized itching (pruritus).
  • U acute, genital ulcers.
  • Blurred vision.
  • Double vision (diploma).
  • Black spots in vision.
  • Blindness or low vision.
  • Chest pain.
  • Pain in the lower back.
  • Abdominal pain.
  • Loss of appetite, indigestion, or other gastrointestinal disorder.
  • Muscle pain.
  • Numbness and trembling.
