Diablo 3, Guide to Magic Find or possibility of finding magic items

Magic Find Guide or possibility of finding magic items
Legacy of Diablo 2, one of the attributes which in principle does not seem important is to find magic items, especially in normal or nightmare levels. But once arrived inferno things change, and begin to seriously plan to enhance our team, that's where you begin to consider the Magic Finding, especially after getting kill Diablo in the last act, and his reward in the form of two real and wonderful blue items ...
The MF in Diablo 3 becomes more profitable with the auction house, knowing that with a little dedication anything of interest found help us to get some extra money in their "subset" market, as happened in World of Warcraft or manual trades in Diablo 2, and so in that way to obtar to objects that interest us,
There is a formula, perhaps not entirely accurate, but gives us an idea that we need to improve our drops:
Chance of Getting Magic Items designed (ilvl) = (1 * (100/MF) * iType) * (Monster Level Multiplier * object)
MF = Percent chance of finding magic.
IType = Ability to drop by object type: magical, rare, set or Legendary.
Mlvlscore = monster level rating (the higher Mlvl (monster level) the higher the score starting from 1 and increasing gradually.
Multiplier = regular speciales, unique, champions, rare, bosses etc. (1, 2, 3, 4 x multiplier (this is the unknown (for now) of the formula))
In the following examples we can see it clearer:
Example 1:
If you have 0% chance of finding magic in a normal mob drops a white object, the result is as follows:
10% chance to drop a magic item.
2% chance of it being weird.
0.05% chance that either set (green).
0.00005 possibility that it is legendary.
Example 2:
With 100% chance of finding an object in a mob WHITE normal:
20% chance to drop a magic item.
4% chance of it being weird.
0.1% chance of it being set (green)
0.0001% chance of it being legendary.
Example 3:
With 500% chance of finding an object in a mob WHITE normal:
100% chance to drop a magic item.
20% chance of it being weird.
0.5% chance of it being set (green)
.0005 possibility that is legendary.
Example 4:
With 100% chance of finding a blue object in a boss, because this is more likely to drop.
100% chance to drop a magic item.
40% chance of it being weird.
0.5% chance of it being set (green)
.0005 possibility that it is legendary.
Example 5:
With 500% chance of finding an object in a head BLUE normal, because this is more likely to drop.
0% chance to drop a magic item.
100% chance of it being weird.
0.125% chance that is set (green)
.0125 possibility that it is legendary.
Example 6:
With 100% chance of finding an object YELLOW Magic (rare) on a normal monster.
0% chance to drop a magic item.
100% chance of it being weird.
.00625% chance that either of set (green)
000625 possibility that it is legendary.
Example 7:
With 100% chance of finding an object in a head YELLOW normal, because this is more likely to drop.
0% chance to drop a magic item.
100% chance of it being weird.
.025% chance of that is set (green)
00 125 chance of it being legendary.
Example 8:
With 100% chance of finding magic of an object set (GREEN) in a normal monster.
0% chance to drop a magic item.
0% chance of it being weird.
100% chance to be Set (green)
possibility that 0010 is legendary.
Example 9:
With 500% chance of finding magic of an object set (GREEN) in a normal monster.
0% chance to drop a magic item.
0% chance of it being weird.
100% chance to be Set (green)
.0050 possibility that it is legendary. (In a head 0.1)
Example 10:
With 0% - 1000% chance of finding legendary magic of an object in any kind of monster.
0% chance to drop a magic item.
0% chance of it being weird.
0% chance of it being Set (green)
100% chance to be legendary. (In a head 0.1)
As can be seen in the examples, the calculations are related to the type of object that can drop a monster or boss. Although Blizzard has placed so bosses like Diablo 2 (see Mephisto hidden in level 3) and in principle are not farmeables. Our recommendation is to travel the last act, by its object levels, monster level and above all by the amount of champions, rare and unique bosses that we find in retail travel.
Shortly prepare a guide of questions and answers about finding magic, I hope this guide will help guide you at least a little, although the MF always different opinions, myths and ideas like each player
